I am Sumaira mostly known as Sumi, I am a photographer and a videographer based in Toronto, Canada.

My passion was always to capture the best things in life! I believe that life gives you many moments to cherish that sometimes you forget to get hold of! But, capturing these moments gives you a chance to keep them in your heart forever! That’s why I convert my passion into my profession. Because the best profession you could have is what you love. Having completed my education in photography at Photographic Society of Sri Lanka under my mentor Ewlyn Fernando, helped me to understand more about the technical jargon and the art of photography. I enjoy photographing people and I’m here to create beautiful visual content. As I am a creative media designer it assists me on enhancing and capturing the beauty as it is and adding a value that a camera couldn’t add. Back in Srilanka during my period of photography I have covered more than 500 events including weddings,baby shoots,food photography for renowned food chain outlets,fashion photography and videography for startups and well established brands.I’m glad and proud to say that I have brought many smiles amongst my clients for the work I have done for which the satisfaction is more than the words could express. I believe my eye and my camera captures the beauty that cannot seize with a naked eye.
